Michael Merenda: Listen
When I See Your Face
(from the album "Quiver")
Ruth was up in the studio rehearsing with Kristin Andreassen and I was down in the house playing around with Garageband. I wrote and recorded this song and when they came down it was playing on our stereo. The original demo has all this crazy delay on the whole mix. I'll post it someday! This song was written for Ruthy.
When I See Your Face
by Michael Merenda
When I see your face
I am overcome
Cause you make me feel inside just like Jamaican rum
When I see your face
I can hardly breathe
And I know the mistletoe just grew a few more leaves
O when I see your face
I am overcome
I will be there with a wheel chair when your race is run
When I see your face
All my worlds collide
Cause I know that you would look so lovely as my bride
When I see your face
All my world goes white
If ever I prove false to you bright day will turn to night
O when I see yr face
I am over come
I will be there with a wheel chair when your race is run
